Wolves legend Kenny Hibbitt puts massive valuation on Adama Traore

Wolverhampton Wanderers legend Kenny Hibbitt reckons Adama Traore is now worth up to £80 million.

The Spanish flier has enjoyed a brilliant start to the 2019/20 campaign, with fans delighted that he seems to have found his end product.

Traore often frustrated supporters last term, and there were question marks whether the club had actually wasted £18 million signing him from Middlesbrough (BBC Sport).

But the former Barcelona man has turned things around in a big way, and is arguably now one of the most feared players in the Premier League.

Three Tottenham Hotspur players were booked last weekend for fouls on the dangerous Traore, underlining just how much of a menace he’s become.

And in the eyes of Hibbitt – who scored 114 goals in 574 games for the club – his market value has soared.

He said (Wolves Bite): “Traore is the quickest thing on two legs over short distance and long distance but he wasn’t picking his head up and seeing the game before, but now that he’s doing that, he’s looking like a £60m, £70m, £80m player.

“The way he’s playing now makes the £18m they paid for him when he first came look like a bargain now. The boy has worked tremendously hard and the way he’s playing now is the standard we expect.”

TBR’s view – Traore has become a huge asset

If Traore continues this kind of level through until the end of the season, then Wolves will have to anticipate some unwanted transfer interest next summer.

Traore has the potential to become absolutely frightening in a couple of years.

Without a doubt, a huge team from Europe is going to be interested in someone so physically blessed, but they’ll definitely want to fork out big money if that decision-making and end product is there too.
