Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter would like to see a deal take place.
Sky Sports reports that the 25-year-old is now on the Wolves shortlist, as they go in march of more midfielders in the summer window.
It is understood that Manchester United have made contact about the Saints powerhouse, while others teams in the Premier League, Spain, Italy and France are also keen.
The report explains that Lemina is not yet a “priority” for manager Nuno Espirito Santo despite being on a shortlist.
Lemina’s future does appear to be away from St Mary’s, as he’s told France Football that he wants to leave this summer.
He’s a central midfielder with immense strength and great technical ability, which is why he could definitely bolster the options well at Molineux in the centre of the park.
But he’s struggled for consistency with Southampton and a fresh move to get back on track look a smart idea.
A selection of Wolves fans on social media are confident that Lemina would be a strong addition for their squad.
There is a lack of depth in the midfield for Nuno to choose from, so adding someone with experience in England could be a masterstroke.
Here are some Wolves fans on target Lemina:
Definetly would take him use to play for juve and he knows the premier league aswell 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
