Wolves fans want Pedro Neto to make his debut against Pyunik

Wolverhampton Wanderers face Armenian outfit Pyunik on Thursday night in the Europa League – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are desperate to see summer addition Pedro Neto make his debut for the club.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side face Pyunik at Molineux in the second leg of their Europa League qualifying third round, which they lead 4-0 on aggregate from the first leg.

The Premier League team are in a comfortable position to qualify and it could give the manager the opportunity to rotate if he chooses.

Wolves kicked off their Premier League campaign with a goalless draw away to Leicester City at the weekend and play Manchester United next Monday.

With the games already piling up from European qualifiers, the West Midlands club are likely to need the full strength of their squad.

A selection of Wolves supporters on social media are convinced that there should be wholesale changes for the tie against Pyunik and feel it’s an ideal opportunity to start Neto.

Neto completed a move to Wolves this summer from Braga and he was an unsuited substitute against Leicester.

The 19-year-old left-footed attacker is a versatile ace that can play in central or wide areas and would be an option to play as one of the two strikers in Nuno’s system.

He is a Portuguese teenager that has had a brief taste of senior football during his time out on loan with Lazio and featured in five first-team games for them last season.

Neto is a fairly unknown talent that will hope to make a name for himself at Molineux, something that fans want to see start on Thursday night.
