Wolves fans split about striker target Moussa Marega
Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in Porto attacker Moussa Marega – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are split over whether he’d be a good signing or not.
According to the Mirror, Wolves are leading the race for the 28-year-old and manager Nuno Espirito Santo has made him a priority target this summer.
It is understood that the centre-forward has a £30million release clause in his contract with Portuguese giants Porto.
The report further details that Leicester City and West Ham are keen on the Mali internatonal, but Wolves are in pole position right now.
Marega has enjoyed a decent season for Porto, scoring 21 goals and supplying 11 assists in 46 games across all competitions.
The African goal machine impressed with six goals during this campaign’s Champions League and he is in the peak years of his career right now.
His first touch can let him down at times, but he knows where the back of the net is and has decent strength too.
Wolves could do with reinforcing their squad over the summer, as their fixtures could pile up due to the Europa League.
Raul Jimenez did an excellent job as the main striker this campaign, but Marega is a potential target to provide competition at Molineux.
Here are some Wolves fans divided about Marega:
Would definitely do a good job for me

Still prefer Rondon on the bench – half the price of Marega!

Exactly Al. Some folks need to trust Nuno and the staff more than their perceived knowledge gained from Football Manager and Fifa ?
