Wolves continue their wait for their first Premier League win of the season and remain second bottom of the Premier League after yesterday’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.

It looked as if they were heading for another 1-0 defeat having lost by that scoreline at home to Braga in midweek but Diogo Jota netted in the very last minute of the match to rescue a 1-1 draw and a point.

Wolves are still looking for a way to get back on song in the Premier League as well as dealing with the demands of European football.

But Rui Patricio has experience at the very highest level and the supporters were impressed with his display at Selhurst Park yesterday.

They felt there were some saves from the £100,000-a-week (Spotrac) man that kept their side in the game at the point where Wolves had to go on and chase the match, and Jota’s goal was his reward.

The fans were very impressed with Patricio’s display and he has fully won over the fanbase now having taken John Ruddy’s spot in the team last season.

He came with fantastic pedigree and is showing that in abundance in English football so far and Wolves will need that to continue during a tough run of form.
