Wolves fans react to performance of Conor Coady against Leeds United

Wolves upset the new darlings of the Premier League, Leeds United, by running out 1-0 winners during their visit to Elland Road – with England star Conor Coady once again the star attraction.

The 27-year-old was deployed in his usual central defensive position and marshalled the back three superbly well.

He was typically brilliant and produced a rock-solid display to thwart the threat of a Leeds side who have been in fine form when it comes to the attacking side of things.

Coady is turning into Mr Wolverhampton Wanderers and he thoroughly deserved the international recognition received during the last couple of international breaks.

Wolves secured a vital victory last night thanks to a Raul Jimenez strike with 20 minutes remaining. The result moved Wolves up to sixth place in the table and leaves Marcelo Bielsa with work to do.

In fairness a draw was perhaps a fair result but similarly to when Leeds nicked all three points against Sheffield United last month, Wolves produced a similar situation here.

Coady was once again part of everything positive about Wolves with the captain leading his team by example.
