Wolves got a second successive win away from home in the Europa League with a 2-1 comeback victory over Slovan Bratislava last night.
Goals from Romain Saiss and Raul Jimenez clinched a vital three points for the Old Gold on the road to put them second in Group K.
Nuno Santo doesn’t usually make a great deal of changes but he handed young defender Max Kilman a rare start on the left of the back three in Slovakia.
And the Englishman didn’t disappoint his manager or the fans, putting in an assured performance against tricky opposition in a game during which he and his team-mates had to show character after going a goal down.

The consensus on Twitter was that Kilman didn’t put a foot wrong, looking assured and confident despite his tender years and lack of gametime.
Santo prefers working with a thinner squad and that does allow him to hand opportunities to the likes of Kilman and that tactic will pay dividends for as long as he puts in performances like this.
The next step is for him to try and force his way into Wolves’ Premier League plans, but he might not be able to manage that just yet, such is the quality of competition ahead of him.
