Wolves winger Adama Traore is getting ready to face former team Aston Villa tomorrow and will do so after a tumultuous week regarding his international future.
Rumours started abounding earlier in the week that the Spain under-21 international had decided to represent Mali at senior international level. It was even reported by Marca that he had made the switch.
As reported by the Express and Star, he clarified that despite having talks over an international switch, nothing had been decided.
Which is just as well, because Traore now has the chance to represent Spain.

The flying winger has been called up to the Spanish national team for upcoming fixtures with Malta and Romania. He takes the place of Valencia forward Rodrigo, who has picked up an injury.
It is a great achievement for Traore, who has shown great improvements in his game at Wolves this season.
Most notably, he scored two goals as Wolves defeated Manchester City earlier this season and will undoubtedly bring some pace to the Spanish side.
The Mali confusion aside, most Wolves fans were ecstatic to hear that their much-improved player had received this prestigious accolade. Hopefully, he can go on to have an impact with his country in the future.
