Vitinha started his first game for Wolves since arriving from Porto on a season-long loan last night. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men were knocked out of the Carabao Cup 1-0 by Stoke City.
The 20-year-old put in an eye-catching performance though and earned some rave reviews from the club’s supporters on Twitter afterwards.
Vitinha started on the left-hand side of a front three with fellow new signing Fabio Silva through the middle and Adama Traore on the right.
The youngster has played 12 times for Porto and has five caps for the Portugal under-21 outfit. His arrival is another Portuguese inspired addition to Santo’s squad.

Last night, despite the defeat, he showed some promising touches and on the face of things, it seems as though he could be a useful addition.
Once up to the demands of the Premier League the youngster could become a first-team regular in no time and Santo has shown previously his willingness to trust youth.
Following his first start in English football, Wolves supporters took to Twitter to rave about the performance of the exciting talent.
The West Midlands-based club hold the option to make the move permanent in the summer of 2021 for £18 million. Following his maiden start here is a selection of Tweets from supporters.
