A number of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror over the weekend suggesting that they want Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The two Premier League clubs have already completed a couple of notable deals in recent times. As noted by the Mirror, Diogo Jota joined the Reds for £45 million, while Ki-Jana Hoever moved to Molineux for £9 million.
And it appears that Nuno Espirito Santo is hoping that the centre-back is not the last Liverpool player to join his ranks during this window.
The Daily Mirror reports that Wolves are also keen on Oxlade-Chamberlain. It is suggested they are hoping that the Reds’ acquisition of Thiago Alcantara may open the door for the £25 million man to leave.
It remains to be seen if the Premier League champions can be, at all, tempted to sell Oxlade-Chamberlain. But it does appear that many Wolves supporters would love to see him join this summer.
The 27-year-old has been an important member of Jurgen Klopp’s squad, despite struggling to cement a place in the starting lineup.
And plenty of Wolves fans believe that he could be a fantastic addition to Nuno’s squad. Wolves boast a frightening amount of quality in the middle of the park.
Nevertheless, some clearly feel that Oxlade-Chamberlain would bring a lot to the side if brought in.
Here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports…
