Wolverhampton Wanderers are being linked with a move for Olympiacos attacker Daniel Podence this month as the Portuguese winger continues to shine for the Greek giants – and Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter.
Podence, 24, starred for Olympiacos in the Champions League this season, scoring against Tottenham Hotspur in a 2-2 draw in Greece. He has had a hand in 10 goals this season, during his 27 outings – scoring five and creating five.
Portuguese outlet O Jogo have claimed that Wolves want to sign the uncapped winger, and are set to table an offer worth £25.5million for the former Sporting Lisbon star. In 68 games, he has scored 13 and created 14 for the Greek outfit.

Diminutive in size, Podence more than makes up for it in speed, trickery and goal threat. His ability to glide past players and create chances for his teammates, or have a shot on goal is impeccable. He can also play on either side.
The signing of Podence would be Wolves’ second most-expensive transfer in their history. Raul Jimenez cost the Midlands club £30million, but Jonny is the club’s second following his £19million move from Atletico Madrid.
Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club could be about to spend big on Podence, and many are excited at the prospect of the winger moving to Molineux in the near future.
