Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the FA Cup third round on Friday night – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter picked out their defender Nelson Semedo as a real positive with his performance.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over Palace at Molineux, which put their name in the hat for the fourth round draw on Monday.
Spaniard Adama Traore was the match-winner for Wolves, as he unleashed a powerful left-footed shot from the edge of the box.
The West Midlands club were dumped out of the third round in last season’s FA Cup by Manchester United, but it should be a competition this time around that they can go deep into.

A selection of Wolves supporters on social media singled out Semedo as a real bright spark with his display on Friday.
The 27-year-old has had a mixed start to his Wolves career since joining in the summer from Barcelona, as he’s been striving to find his best form and has been adjusting to English football.
But the speed machine right-back is now beginning to look himself and his overlapping runs from full-back were a threat all evening for Palace.
