Wolves are set to allow winger Ivan Cavaleiro to join recently-relegated Fulham on loan for the 2019/20, according to the Express and Star.
Cavaleiro was a huge influence on the Old Gold’s Championship promotion season but failed to replicate that impact in the Premier League.
That said, he was still a useful option off the bench and might have been more important with Helder Costa having moved to Leeds on loan already.
Some Wolves fans on Twitter are starting to worry about the size of the squad ahead of the new season, which kicks off in around a month.
There is of course still time for Wolves to make new signings and the way they have operated in the transfer market in recent seasons suggests Fosun will have a plan.
But the squad looks very thin as it stands and it’s always a boost if a club can get their business done before their players go off on pre-season tours and play friendlies.
That’s why some supporters on Twitter have started to panic about Cavaleiro’s impending transfer.
Its becoming a joke now. We had a small squad before selling Costa and Cav, now we have no squad with 13 days until the season starts. It might all be part of a bigger plan but some reassurance to the fans that they are actually doing something behind the scenes would be nice.

IMO we need
Players to replace Costa and cav
Someone to challenge doc
So 5 players

Do you think the club has this under control and there's no need to panic yet? We need at least 4 players by the looks of it.

Not good enough. Cav is able to play at our level and him and Costa have been shipped out. Players incoming is serious now. Wolves need to start paying up and act like the big club they want to be

What the hell is going in Tim??

Better than Traore and Costa. How thin is our bench now? Subs when all are fit would be Gibbs-White, Kilman, Miranda, Ruddy, Traore, Vinagre and Saiss. No goals and no game changers.

The timing worries me. Even if 3-5 additions are made late on in the window they’ll have had very little time with the team to adapt. Slow start

He’s better than Traore…

Even more focus on the lack of signings… you'd think there were at least pre contract agreements in place, that's 2 1st team squad members going in so many weeks. Need a few signings asap… pic.twitter.com/EDr11lo2Z5
