Wolverhampton Wanderers are one of five Premier League sides reportedly interested in landing Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva this summer – and Wolves supporters have reacted by urging their club to sign him.
Silva, 35, is seemingly coming to the end of his eight-year stint in Paris in which he has held aloft seven Ligue 1 titles. The 88-time Brazil international’s £240,000-a-week contract (Foot Mercato) expires in the summer.
Now, L’Equipe have claimed that Thomas Tuchel’s side will not extend Silva’s contract beyond the summer – meaning Silva has played his last game for PSG, following the suspension of French football until September.

Following the report from the French newspaper, football website 90Min have claimed that five Premier League clubs are interested in signing Silva on a free – in Wolves, Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle and West Ham.
However, the Premier League quintet are not the only sides eyeing the Brazilian colossus. Indeed, clubs from Brazil, Qatar, China, Japan and the MLS are interested – as are former side AC Milan
Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Nuno Espirito Santo is keen on beating the queue to Silva’s signature – and many feel he would be an excellent signing.
