Wolves fans react as club linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore

Arsenal are reportedly battling Liverpool and Real Madrid in pursuit of Wolverhampton Wanderers beast Adama Traore and the player’s agent has opened the door to a move this summer – prompting reaction from Wolves fans.

Traore, 24, has finally broken onto the scene and turned glimpses of magic into consistent performances. He has had a hand in 16 goals this season, scoring twice in two separate outings against Premier League champions Manchester City.

The Mirror claim both Arsenal and Liverpool, as well as Zinedine Zidane’s side are interested in the winger – while 90Min claim Manchester City and Barcelona are also looking at the £70million-rated speed machine.

Speaking to EFE, Traore’s agent Rodri Baster opened the door to a summer move for his client, if the financial landscape evens out: “I can’t talk about contractual situations because it’s a private matter, but Adama was having a good season.

“With his age, conditions and the fact he’s a very appealing player, there would have been a market for him, no doubt about it. We have to hope for the situation to normalise itself and hope that it won’t affect him this summer”.

Arsenal spent a similar fee on Nicolas Pepe last summer and Mikel Arteta could be tempted to do the same this time around. However, it remains to be seen how much Arsenal will have to spend in the coming months, given the global health crisis.

Liverpool, meanwhile, may be forced to delve into the market with both Mo Salah and Sadio Mane being linked with Real Madrid. Pep Guardiola will have been impressed having watched Traore score twice against his side.

Wolves supporters reacted to the news that their player is in the midst of a summer battle between other clubs. Following his agent’s comments, many are expecting him to leave and would be willing to see him go.
