Wolverhampton Wanderers could reportedly be about to sign AC Milan striker Patrick Cutrone and fans have reacted to the news on Twitter, with many keen to see him move to Molineux.
The Express & Star have claimed that talks are already at an advanced stage to sign the 21-year-old Italian, who scored 18 goals for Milan in the 2017-18 campaign. He struggled last season, though.
That is because Milan brought in Polish ace Krzysztof Piatek, and that left Italy Under-21 international Cutrone to make do with substitute appearances. He scored nine goals in 43 outings, though 27 came from the bench.
Wolves have already signed a striker this summer in the form of a permanent deal for Mexican Raul Jimenez, but Nuno Espirito Santo looks keen to add to his options up front – despite the presence of Diogo Jota, too.
The report claims that Milan want £22million for Cutrone, though Wolves may find they have competition from Tottenham in the race to land the Italian. TuttoMercatoWeb claimed that Tottenham wanted Cutrone.
Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to the reported news that their club could be about to sign Milan ace Cutrone, and many are keen to see a deal completed for the up-and-coming striker.
