Romain Saiss completed 90 minutes in the win over West Ham on Tuesday night – and many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans on Twitter raved about the quality of his performance.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side produced a dominant home display at Molineux to dispatch of the Hammers 3-0.

The result meant that they climbed up to seventh in the Premier League table and European football is certainly on the cards for next season if they can sustain recent form.

Saiss made the all important breakthrough with a powerful header from a corner in the 66th minute, before a Raul Jimenez brace made sure of the three points.

Wolves have now won two on the spin in the league and travel to Everton at the weekend for another important fixture.

A selection of Wolves fans on social media singled out Saiss for his display and believe he’s an “underrated” member of the squad.

The 28-year-old is a versatile ace that can slot in at defence or midfield, with Nuno requiring him to play as a centre-back due to a lack of options.

Saiss was a fringe figure in the opening months of the season, but has now started to obtain regular minutes on the pitch and is earning the reward for his patience.

The Morocco international played a key role in promotion from the Championship last season and is adjusting well to the top flight.
