Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have made their feelings know about Alan Shearer’s latest Premier League Team of the Week on Twitter.
The Newcastle United legend’s team for the 17th round of fixtures includes Aaron Ramsdale in goal and a back four of George Baldock, Michael Keane, Chris Mepham and Jan Vertonghen.

Then in midfield, he plumped for John Fleck, Jefferson Lerma and Kevin De Bruyne, while his attacking trio consisted of Michail Antonio, Teemu Pukki and Mo Salah.
Shearer’s selections never satisfy everyone, and this week it is Wolves supporters who have taken issue.
Specifically, plenty are irritated to see Spurs defender Vertonghen included, after he endured an uncomfortable afternoon at Molineux against their winger Adama Traore.

The Spaniard, who scored in the 2-1 defeat to the north Londoners, was a thorn in the Belgian’s side throughout the contest and three players were booked for fouls on the ex-Barcelona man.
Vertonghen struggled, but he also won Spurs the game with a late header.
