Wolves fans praise Max Kilman for his performance against Leeds

Wolverhampton Wanders beat Leeds United 1-0 on Monday night in the Premier League – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter praised their defender Max Kilman for his performance.

Wolves moved up to sixth in the league table after a narrow victory at Elland Road, as centre-forward Raul Jimenez scored the winner in the second-half with his deflected shot.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side put in a trademark display where they were resilient in defence and they managed to grind out three points.

Despite being nowhere near their best in the first-half, the West Midlands club seemed a lot more positive in the second period and they managed to keep a clean sheet against a Leeds team that had been free-scoring going into the fixture.

A selection of Wolves supporters on social media picked out their inexperienced player Kilman for his contribution against Leeds.

The 23-year-old was playing in just his sixth top-flight game and he looked a natural in the back three, where he was alongside Conor Coady and Willy Boly.

He is a ball-playing centre-back that proved he can slot in smoothly to the backline, proving the strength in depth there is at Molineux.
