Wolverhampton Wanderers produced a stunning comeback performance to beat Manchester City 3-2 on Friday night – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter picked out their attacker Adama Traore for his display.

Manchester City were down to 10 men when goalkeeper Emerson was sent off after just 12 minutes in the Premier League fixture at Molineux.

But Raheem Sterling’s brace gave the visitors a two-goal lead with a men less.

Traore pulled a goal back for the hosts in the 55th minute with a long-range effort that fired into the net.

The Spaniard then assisted teammate Raul Jimenez to make it 2-2 and defender Matt Doherty scored an 89th minute for Wolves to complete the turnaround.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have moved up to fifth in the league table as a result just two points adrift of Chelsea in fourth and it means that Liverpool continue to runaway with it at the top of the table.

A selection of Wolves supporters on social media were left stunned by the quality of their dazzling speed machine Traore after Friday night.

The 23-year-old scored both goals in a 2-0 away win against Manchester City earlier in the league season and they have completed a memorable double over them.

His pace and power as a right-winger was too much for left-back Benjamin Mendy to handle during the contest.
