Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are thrilled with the speculation.
L’Equipe reports that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are keen on the centre-back following his eye-catching season in La Liga.
It is understood that the Spanish club value him at around £17.6million ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old is a young promising talent that is being eyed for a potential switch to Molineux and they have the offer of Europa League football next season.
But he helped Valencia qualify for the Champions League with a fourth-placed finish in La Liga.

A selection of Wolves fans on social media believe that Diakhaby could be a strong addition to the squad next year.
The French powerhouse would compete for a spot in one of the three centre-back positions if he did join.
Nuno has settled on a combination of Ryan Bennett, Conor Coady and Willy Boly during the last year, but the Valencia ace may be right fit to break that up and perhaps improve it.
His experience of European football would be handy for next season, when Wolves will be looking to make a dent in the Europa League.
