Willy Boly helped Wolverhampton Wanderers record a vital away victory against Serie A side Torino on Thursday night – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were raving about his display.

Wolves produced a memorable performance out in Italy to beat Torino 3-2 in the first leg of a Europa League play-off qualifier.

A late goal for the hosts took some gloss off the scoreline and set up an intriguing second leg at Molineux, but the English team have the advantage of three away goals in the tie.

The West Midlands club are one game away from the Europa League group stages and are unbeaten in their seven games across all competitions so far this season.

A selection of Wolves supporters on social media picked out Boly for his dominant performance, something they have become used to from him.

Boly is an ever-present in the defence that showed off his power and determination against Torino, as their striker Andrea Belotti found out.

The 28-year-old centre-back clearly has the trust of manager Nuno Espirito Santo and has looked solid so far this campaign.
