Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in RB Leipzig attacker Matheus Cunha – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are split over whether or not he would be a good signing.
Sky Sports has claimed that Wolves have entered the race for the 20-year-old.
It is understood that Brighton and several top clubs from across Europe are also eyeing the Bundesliga star.
The report details that German top-flight club Leipzig would sell their Brazilian striker for £17million this January.
Cunha is a young promising player that has been in Germany since 2018 and made a reputation for himself as a top talent.
The centre-forward is someone with decent pace and power, which is why he’s also represented Brazil up to Under-23 age level.
His position at Molineux would be to provide competition in the forward areas if he arrived, but it would take something special to dislodge talisman Raul Jimenez.

A selection of Wolves supporters have argued that the Leipzig striker is the type of positive addition this month that would improve the squad.
Meanwhile, others aren’t convinced by the inexperienced player and his £17million valuation is fairly steep.
