Wolverhampton Wanderers secured a place in the last eight of the Europa League with a two-legged win over Greek giants Olympiakos – but many Wolves supporters were thoroughly impressed with midfielder Mady Camara.
Back in March, Wolves stuttered to a 1-1 draw in Greece despite Olympiakos playing for more than an hour with just 10 men. Pedro Neto cancelled out Youssef El-Arabi’s opener, but the two sides have been made to wait five months.
The second leg was finally played behind closed doors on Thursday night at Molineux and a mistake from rookie Olympiakos goalkeeper Bobby Allain gave Wolves the chance to score from the penalty spot.

They did just that through Raul Jimenez and despite boasting a number of chances to score a second, Wolves had to make do with a 1-0 win. Rui Patricio also pulled off a number of excellent saves throughout the game.
Wolves fans were delighted on social media but it was an Olympiakos midfielder that caught their attention. Guinea international Camara starred for the Greek side, and is being linked with a £25million Arsenal move – as per SDNA.
Camara had a goal disallowed in the first half as he side-footed an effort into the back of the net, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside following an earlier phase in the attacking move.
Wolves supporters were impressed with the African’s performance on Thursday night and some suggested that they would want Nuno Espirito Santo to go after the midfielder in the coming weeks.
