Wolves fans blown away by Pedro Neto display in win against Arsenal

Wolverhampton Wanderers came from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 on Tuesday night – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were wowed by the performance of their star Pedro Neto.

Despite the game being overshadowed somewhat by more VAR controversy, it was such a vital result for Wolves.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side went into last night’s game with no wins in their previous eight Premier League fixtures, but broke that duck against Arsenal.

Joao Moutinho was the match-winner for the hosts, as he scored a remarkable 30-yard effort early in the second-half to earn three points.

A selection of Wolves supporters on social media believe that Neto was a real standout performer.

The 20-year-old attacker tormented opposition right-back Hector Bellerin for large spells of the game and got an assist to his name.

The left-footed Portugal international has been brilliant all season with his eye-catching displays as a left-winger, where he’s a real threat with his pace, agility and directness.

With Raul Jimenez watching on from the sidelines while he recovers from his head injury, young talent Neto has certainly been the one shining most in attack and he really helps to drive his team up the pitch.
