Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a move for Southampton outcast Cedric Soares.
The Portugal international was farmed out on loan to Internazionale in January, with Ralph Hasenhuttl preferring youngster Yann Valery at right-back.

Soares will likely be available this summer, with the Italian club having already decided they will not be taking up the option sign him permanently for £9 million according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Hasenhuttl’s decision to loan him out in January perhaps suggests that the Austrian doesn’t view the £3.6 million player (The Guardian) as the way forward for the Saints.
He has served the club well having joined in 2015 from Sporting CP and made 119 appearances for the club.

It is hardly a surprise to see Wolves linked with the defender given his Portuguese nationality.
Molineux has a strong contingent of Iberian players such as Rui Patricio, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Ivan Cavaleiro and Helder Costa. Ominously, Soares is represented by super agent Jorge Mendes.
Wolves fans react
Wolves fans were fairly split down the middle over the thought of Soares potentially joining their club this summer.
