‘Woah’, ‘Unexpected’: Tottenham fans react on Twitter as Harvey White joins Portsmouth

Tottenham fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that young midfielder, Harvey White, has sealed a move to League One side, Portsmouth.

White moves to Pompey for the rest of the season and will hope to help the club back into the Championship. Portsmouth are currently third in League One but well within reach of a promotion spot.

The 19-year-old arrives at Fratton Park with a good pedigree. He’s highly-rated in north London and Jose Mourinho will, no doubt, be keeping a close eye on his development with Pompey. Indeed, Mourinho has previously stated both White and Jack Clarke belong in the Spurs first-team squad, despite their tender ages.

Spurs fans have been having their say on the deal on social media. And while it seems the majority think this is a good move, the surprise element has caught a few out it seems.
