Manchester City have not made an approach for Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo despite reports.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League champions want to focus on bringing in Harry Kane. City are eager to sign a striker this summer, and Ronaldo has surprisingly emerged as an option for the Manchester club.
Corriere dello Sport claimed that agent Jorge Mendes had offered Ronaldo to City. Indeed, Juventus are reportedly open to selling the Portuguese superstar this summer in large part to his hefty wage.

Moreover, as per the report, Ronaldo earns a staggering £25m a year for the Old Lady. Furthermore, with the striker’s contract set to expire next summer, Juventus are eager to offload Ronaldo a year early.
Of course, with Ronaldo having strong links to Manchester United, a move to their city rivals seems extremely unlikely at this stage of the attacker’s career.
Despite being 36-years-old, Ronaldo was the top scorer in Serie A last season and is likely to lead the line for Juventus for the upcoming campaign.

Yet on social media, some fans of the Manchester side are sarcastically stunned by the news that the club are not keen on signing Ronaldo this window.
Here’s what some City supporters had to say on Twitter about Fabrizio Romano’s update on Ronaldo to City…
