Adrien Rabiot is reportedly already considering an exit from Juventus. The Daily Mail, citing Calciomercato, is claiming that Rabiot’s representatives have already reached out to Barcelona regarding a deal as he struggles to find his place in the current Juventus set-up.
If Rabiot is indeed considering his future at Juventus already, then should Tottenham Hotspur rekindle their previous interest?
In January, it was reported by L’Equipe that Rabiot, whose contract at PSG was expiring, had rejected any approach from Tottenham. The report suggested Mauricio Pochettino had spoken to the player but Rabiot had zero interest in joining Spurs. ESPN later suggested Rabiot saw Tottenham as ‘below his level’.

Those words had Tottenham fans vexed at the mercurial Frenchman. Rabiot went on to agree a deal with Juventus which, according to Football Italia, contained a €10 million (£9 million) signing on fee.
However, considering his struggles at Juventus, perhaps Rabiot will now see the value in heading to Tottenham. With Christian Eriksen seemingly on his way out, Rabiot could perhaps see himself playing a starring role in Tottenham’s renaissance. Tottenham could certainly use Rabiot’s strength and vision in the middle of the park at present.
Of course, throwing Rabiot into the current Tottenham situation might be like throwing gasoline onto a forest fire, considering his extroverted personality.
But there is no doubting his quality would improve the Tottenham midfield which has proved so fragile this season.
Would you like Tottenham to return for Rabiot?
