Supposedly offered to Chelsea in a potential £70 million deal according to reports by Sky Sports, Aubameyang may be the most ambitious of all targets left on the market. Having expressed his desire for a fresh challenge, the 28-year-old could consider a move to London.

The Gabon captain managed a goalscoring ratio even more impressive than Andrea Belotti, with 40 goals in 44 games in Germany for Borussia Dortmund. What’s more, his ratio of seven from nine appearances in the Champions League remains one of the best in the history of Europe’s elite competition.

However, rumours linking Aubameyang with Chelsea could be pure paper talk, with his options now seemingly drying up as Dortmund insist that they will keep their talisman and amid speculation that Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian have pulled out of an agreement, so say The Sun.
