Tottenham Hotspur fans are delighted after claims that Oliver Skipp could feature against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Fit again
The London Evening Standard say that the Spurs midfielder is hopeful that he will be fit to feature on Saturday.
There were fears that Skipp could be out for a while, after he limped out of England’s under-21 game with an ankle problem in midweek.
But the latest update sounds very promising for Tottenham fans.
And they were delighted that Skipp was seemingly back in contention to play.
Big progress
The reaction shows just how much Skipp has grown in importance to Tottenham.
The 20-year-old has started all three of Spurs’ matches in the Premier League this season.
Nuno has really taken a shine to the youngster, who impressed out on loan at Norwich City last year.
Skipp has shown a good level of tenacity during his time in Tottenham’s first-team so far, and his willingness to get on the ball has also been impressive.
Nuno will likely want to keep his line-up fairly similar at the weekend, as Spurs have won all three of their Premier League matches to date.
