Wilshere's latest injury problems intensifies West Ham's need to loan Pereira
Jack Wilshere’s return from injury has hit a major roadblock and the midfielder could be ruled out for the rest of the season, according to the Sun.
The Englishman made his comeback against Newcastle earlier in the month but only played five minutes before being forced out of action again.
They report that his historic ankle problems have flared up again and it has come back so badly that he could be out until next season.
He may apparently need another bout of surgery, which could prematurely end his maiden campaign at the London Stadium.

Manuel Pellegrini is battling through a spate of injuries to maintain West Ham’s recent good form and this is a blow he could really do without.
Recent reports have linked the Hammers with a loan swoop for Manchester United outcast Andreas Pereira and Wilshere’s latest injury blow only serves to deepen the club’s need for reinforcements.
Like Wilshere, Pereira can play in a number of midfield roles – both as a technical deep playmaker and further forward as a number 10 – and needs a run of games to show what he can do in the Premier League.
Pellegrini needs players he can rely on, and Pereira has the talent to add to the new, adventurous style of play.
