Jose Mourinho has officially been named the new Tottenham Hotspur manager after the club dramatically sacked Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday evening.
Spurs parted ways with the Argentine after over five years at the club, and the decision is highly controversial.
Many fans are upset by the decision, with popular Pochettino having transformed the club during his tenure.

Daniel Levy has moved fast to get Mourinho in, and work will begin immediately ahead of the weekend clash with West Ham United.
Mourinho’s arrival will raise all sorts of questions – including how it might affect winger Lucas Moura.
In 2016, the player’s agent Wagner Ribeiro admitted the Portuguese was a fan of the Brazilian and wanted to sign him for Manchester United.

He said (Manchester Evening News): “Who called Lucas Moura there [to Real Madrid]? It wasn’t Florentino Perez who wanted Lucas Moura, it was Mourinho.
“Mourinho was and is passionate about Lucas Moura. So much so that now at Manchester he wants Lucas as well.”
TBR’s view – Mourinho to reinvigorate Moura?
Mourinho’s appointment could be promising for Moura, who has been used quite sparingly so far this season.

The £23 million signing from Paris Saint-Germain (BBC Sport) has mainly been making substitute appearances, but Mourinho could well work him into the starting XI.
Arguably Spurs have been missing the width and directness he provides, and perhaps regular minutes await now with Mourinho a known fan of the South American.
