A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have waxed lyrical about Joe Aribo’s “sensational” performance for Steven Gerrard’s charges as they brought three points back to Ibrox last night.
Rangers maintained their 16-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with a routine 3-0 win away at struggling St Johnstone.
The Light Blues opener came on 24 minutes, with Kemar Roofe rifling home after the opposition keeper had palmed Ianis Hagi’s initial strike away.

Glen Kamara then made it two just after the half-hour mark with a tidy finish, Aribo the architect as he provided a delightful pass for the Finland international.
The impressive Hagi wrapped up the scoring shortly after the second half got underway, with a fierce effort after Roofe’s shot had been blocked.
As well as his assist, Aribo was involved in pretty much everything going forward, his ball control simply superb throughout.
