Timo Werner could be in line to make his Tottenham debut this weekend.
The German joined Spurs on loan with a £15m option to buy this week, and he could be thrown in at the deep end against Manchester United on Sunday.
Werner may not start against United, but he could end up making an impact off the bench according to Clinton Morrison.
Indeed, speaking on Premier League Productions, Morrison has been discussing Werner’s impending debut, and he reckons the German will deliver against United and make an impact off the bench.

Werner will make a difference
Morrison shared his verdict on Werner’s potential performance against United.
“I think this weekend could be 4-3 to Tottenham. The game is so open, but let me tell you something, that new signing will deliver, I don’t think he will be in the team straight away, I think Brennan Johnson will play, but I think he’ll make an impact of the bench,” Morrison said.
Huge opportunity
This is a massive chance for Werner to make an immediate impression at Tottenham.
It doesn’t get much bigger than making your debut against Manchester United at Old Trafford, and, as Morrison predicts, if Werner can make an impact in a 4-3 win against the Red Devils he will be an instant hero in north London.
Of course, whether or not Werner can make an impact against United this weekend remains to be seen. He’s not been in the best of form as of late, while he really didn’t cope well with the rigours of the Premier League last time around when he was at Chelsea.
Let’s hope that Werner can hit the ground running against United this weekend, because if he gets off to a good start, he could well build a bit of momentum and go on a real goalscoring run for Spurs over the next few weeks.
