Dominic Solanke has been on the fringes at Anfield so far this season, but the Liverpool striker may have just played himself into the shop window ahead of January.
The 21-year-old striker is yet to make a single first-team appearance for Jurgen Klopp’s side this campaign and must be frustrated after having a relatively senior role last year.
He is currently stuck behind teammates Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi in the pecking order.
But on Thursday he made the most of his time in action for England’s Under-21s side, as he helped them secure a 2-1 away victory over Italy.
The centre-forward score a goal in each half to give himself a major confidence boost and perhaps alert other clubs of his incredible potential.

Solanke opened the scoring with a well-timed header inside the box after only eight minutes and his second was a smart finish inside the penalty area in the second period.
It’s unclear on if Liverpool would be prepared to offload their young attacker, but a January loan exit would make much sense for both parties.
Solanke made the most his time on the pitch with England’s young lions and surely a queue of clubs would rise if he became available.
