'Will be Tottenham's fourth signing': Journalist claims Spurs pushing to get deal done for 'incredible' player
Djed Spence could be Tottenham Hotspur’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window, according to Ryan Taylor.
The Express journalist believes Tottenham “want to get the deal done” for the Middlesbrough right-back.
Spurs have been heavily linked with Spence – a player Daniel Taylor has deemed “incredible” – in recent weeks.

Earlier this week, Sky Sports reported that Tottenham were planning further talks over the 21-year-old.
The outlet also claimed Daniel Levy would take over from Fabio Paratici in negotiations for Spence.
This is to allow Fabio Paratici to focus on other targets, added the report.
It suggests Tottenham have effectively locked in on Spence, who reportedly wants to join Spurs.
In addition, Nottingham Forest – who Spence helped earn promotion to the Premier League – have apparently admitted defeat in the race.
“Spurs want to get the deal done”
Taylor, writing on GiveMeSport, believes Antonio Conte will get his man eventually.
“I think Spence will be Tottenham’s fourth signing,” he wrote.
“The kind of noises I was getting around Spence was they were going to bid after the end of the international break, but that didn’t happen, although that’s not to say their interest in Spence has cooled.
“It looks like they may have had an opening offer rejected, but Spurs want to get the deal done, and Forest are looking at other targets.”
Tottenham have already signed Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Yves Bissouma this summer.
Conte and Paratici are bolstering their ranks ahead of their return to Champions League action next season.
