'Will be key on Sunday': Sky pundit tips 25-year-old Rangers ace to shine against Celtic
Glasgow Rangers are in Old Firm derby action against Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday.
Rangers and Celtic have also sneaked through to the group stages of the Europa League.
Not much between them so far then, but this could chance on Sunday as the two Glasgow giants lock horns.
Although Rangers have won five of the last six derbies, Celtic have picked up consecutive 6-0 league victories.
So, which players could make a name for themselves in this crucial fixture?
Sky Sports pundit James McFadden reckons Rangers ace Joe Aribo will be crucial for Steven Gerrard’s side.
The 25-year-old has been impressive for the Light Blues since moving to Ibrox in the summer of 2019.
Aribo reportedly cost Rangers £300,000 because of cross-border transfer rules.
It has proven a bargain for Rangers as the midfielder has registered 18 goals and 16 assists from 98 appearances.
Aribo made 42 appearances last season, including 25 in the Scottish Premiership en route to the title.
He has also made his international breakthrough, winning seven caps with Nigeria and scoring two goals for the Super Eagles.
Rangers ace Aribo “can make things happen” against Celtic
“Joe Aribo for me this season has been one of Rangers’ best players,” McFadden wrote on Sky Sports.
“He can play in a number of positions, he’s intelligent, he just wants to get on the ball and he can make things happen.
“He wants to go forward, he’s not just happy getting a touch laying it back, keeping possession, he wants to affect the game.
“He’s great at carrying the ball and traveling with it and will be key on Sunday at Ibrox for Steven Gerrard’s side.”
