A number of West Ham United fans have given their thoughts on Sebastien Haller’s impressive display in the League Cup last night.
The Hammers hosted League One Charlton in the second round of the competition and put in a solid performance en route to a 3-0 victory.
West Ham were quick off the mark as Andriy Yarmolenko had the ball in the back of the net 10 minutes in, but it was ruled out for a foul.

Haller then spurned a great opportunity in the 19th minute when he scuffed wide from eight yards, but made amends shortly after.
In the 22nd minute, the West Ham record signing tapped home following a great delivery from Josh Cullen, and four minutes later he nodded home Robert Snodgrass’ cross.
Although Haller was fairly quiet after the break, his first-half brace ensured David Moyes’ side had a fairly pressure-free second half, during which Felipe Anderson made it three.
Here is what some West Ham fans were saying during and after the game about the 26-year-old’s display on the night:
Up next for West Ham is Saturday’s Premier League trip to Arsenal.
