Arsenal enjoyed a busy summer ahead of the 2019/20, with the Gunners bringing in six new players at the Emirates Stadium, with one (William Saliba) heading back out on loan.
The Gunners splashed the cash following the disappointment of missing out on Champions League football at the end of 2018/19, and it’s been a mixed bag for their summer recruits so far.

One man Arsenal were linked with a number of timess in 2019 was Christopher Nkunku, the young French midfielder who now plays for RB Leipzig.
Arsenal were linked with a loan in January (L’Equipe) before settling for Denis Suarez – a transfer no Gunners supporter wants to be reminded of.
He was then linked again in the summer, before he headed to the Bundesliga from Paris Saint-Germain for a reported €15 million/£14 million (Goal).
And so far, he’s looked the part.
TBR’s view – A potential regret for Arsenal?
Nkunku has already contributed three goals and four assists in nine Bundesliga matches – only four of which have been starts.

Nkunku produced his best display yet at the weekend against Mainz, with WhoScored awarding him a coveted 10 rating.
While loaned midfielder Dani Ceballos struggles at the Emirates, versatile dynamo Nkunku is really catching the eye for the third-placed German side – and one would imagine he’ll get even better the more games he starts.
Arsenal ended up passing up the chance to sign the lively 21-year-old – and it’s something they could end up regretting further down the line.
