Transfer deadline day has come and gone and Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is still at Selhurst Park and not at Everton.
The Telegraph report that Zaha is absolutely devastated that his move to Goodison Park didn’t go through and Palace have a job on their hands getting his mind back on the job.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail report that Zaha fears his chance of a big-money departure from south London have now gone. Everton went on to sign Alex Iwobi from Arsenal instead.
The Telegraph say that £80 million in cash would have been enough to land £130,000-a-week (Spotrac) Zaha, but Everton paid under half that for Iwobi.

It remains to be seen whether Everton will go back in for Zaha at a later date or whether the signing of Iwobi has put paid to their interest.
But it appears that Zaha would be very open to the idea; he looks certain he’s outgrown Selhurst Park and wants to join a club with greater ambition.
That’s hardly surprising – Palace look to be genuine relegation candidates without Zaha in the team, even with him in it, they’re going to be scrambling around the bottom of the Premier League and the winger wants me.
