Tottenham Hotspur are currently in the process of looking for a new central midfield recruit. Mousa Dembele is still expected to leave whilst Victor Wanyama’s future at Spurs has also been called into question recently.
Whilst no deal is looking likely in the January transfer window, Tottenham will no doubt be starting to look at their options in the transfer market.
One option they should certainly consider is Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi.

The Nigerian has been in fine form for the Foxes this season. He would provide the energy and strength that both Dembele and Waynama can provide but is perhaps more of a goal threat than the pair.
His form in the Premier League has seen him linked with some of Tottenham’s top-tier rivals in recent times. Liverpool were perhaps most strongly linked in the summer. They had previously been linked with a £54 million interest in the player.
Tottenham would no doubt want to pay a lot less for the player if they went for him in the summer. But the former Genk man has all the attributes to be the central midfield option that Spurs need going forward.
Undoubtedly, it is an option that Tottenham will be looking into.
