Chris Wilder saw his Sheffield United side promoted to the Premier League after Leeds drew 1-1 with Aston Villa at Elland Road yesterday.
The Whites’ match was marked by a hugely controversial incident when Mateusz Klich opened the scoring after Jonathan Kodjia went down injured, sparking all hell to break loose.
Patrick Bamford went down holding his face after a minor scuffle with Anwar El Ghazi but while Wilder was full of praise for the way Marcelo Bielsa handled the incident, allowing Villa to equalise, he took a swipe at Bamford.
As per the BBC, Wilder said: “Full respect to Marcelo Bielsa for the way he handled today – but not to Patrick Bamford, obviously. To the manager, he comes out with an enormous amount of credit.”

Then, footage from Sheffield United’s Blades Player video showed Bielsa taking another swipe at Bamford for the mind games he tried to play during the season.
Wilder said: “One defeat in 13 and we’ve got muppets from Leeds talking about pressure’s on us… Bamford, Forshaw and a couple of others. It’s over to you, this, that and the other – they got beat seven times, since Christmas!”
Wilder obviously felt emboldened by his side’s promotion to let out some of the frustrations he has been feeling towards Bamford.
And it should never have been a red card for El Ghazi, he didn’t go anywhere near Bamford’s face but the former Middlesbrough striker made it out like he had.
