Wife of reported Arsenal target confirms they have bought house in London

Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola this summer and the player’s wife may have just dropped an enormous hint over the player’s next move.

Areola, 27,  is likely to be looking for a new club this summer after leaving PSG to join Real Madrid on loan last summer – following PSG’s decision to sign Keylor Navas as the club’s number-one goalkeeper.

The France World Cup winner managed just 11 appearances for Real Madrid last term and will be keen to find a club where he is considered first choice this time around. Arsenal are supposedly interested.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal are one of a number of clubs looking to sign Areola. Now, Areola’s wife Marrion, has confirmed that the Areola family have bought a house in London.

TBR’s view – So, is Areola heading to Arsenal?

Arsenal are not the only London club to be linked wit Areola. Chelsea are strongly linked with the French stopper as Kepa Arrizabalaga continues to struggle, and a move to the Blues is more likely than Arsenal.

That is because Bernd Leno remains the club’s number one despite being injured. Areola is much more likely to move to Chelsea but with nothing announced as of yet, a move to Arsenal is not completely ruled out.
