A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Bernd Leno following the Gunners goalkeeper’s masterclass in Saturday’s Premier League victory at the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta’s charges hosted West Ham and claimed all three points thanks to Alexandre Lacazette’s 78th minute goal, the Frenchman tapping home from Mesut Ozil’s header.

Arsenal had a tense wait while VAR went over the goal, which ruled in their favour as Issa Diop had played Ozil onside by a few inches.
The Gunners’ clean sheet came about thanks to a superb display from Leno, who thwarted dangerous efforts from the likes of Sebastien Haller and Michail Antonio during the game and was a stout, reassuring presence throughout the encounter.
During and after the encounter, plenty of Arsenal supporters sang the praises of the £19million signing on social media:
The result sees Arsenal edge up to ninth in the Premier League table on 40 points, just five points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.
Up next for the Gunners is Wednesday’s Premier League trip to reigning champions Manchester City, with Arteta coming up against his former boss in Pep Guardiola.
