‘Why not Bale?’: Tottenham fans split as Mourinho rings changes for Brighton clash

Tottenham take on Brighton this evening and manager Jose Mourinho has rung the changes following a miserable midweek display in Antwerp.

Spurs are looking to bounce back from that defeat and the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have all been recalled to the starting XI for the home side.

Erik Lamela is also rewarded with a rare start.

Kane and Son, in particular, will be looking to keep up their impressive form and partnership this season. The Tottenham pair sit top of the scoring charts and assist charts respectively.

It’s a game that Tottenham should be looking to win and a number of their fans have been reacting on Twitter to the announcement of the first XI by Mourinho.

So, with changes made and expectations high, it seems some Spurs fans are pretty excited about what tonight could bring for their team.
