Everton fans may be glad they can shift their attention away from Goodison Park for a month after recent results.
A number of Frank Lampard’s players have now joined up with their national teams ahead of the World Cup starting.
One of those is Jordan Pickford, who will almost certainly be England’s number one at another major tournament.
The eccentric shot stopper has been part of one of the Premier League’s best defences this season.

However, his personal form has been up and down, and he’d have been disappointed with one of the goals he conceded at Bournemouth on Saturday.
He’s still very much got the backing of his manager, with Lampard arguing he’s been playing his best football all year.
However, it wasn’t Pickford’s footballing ability that saw John Stones mocking him when he arrived on England duty yesterday.
Pickford gets mocked by Stones on England duty
Pickford is seen arriving with a massive suitcase with his initials on the side.
One of the members of staff jokes, “Are you part of the analysis team for this tournament? Are those all toiletries?”
The Everton goalkeeper chuckles in reply and says: “You’ll see,” before wondering inside.
Pickford is then greeted by Stones, who also mocks his suitcase, simply looking at it and asking him, “Why?”
Pickford says to Stones, “It’s got a big screen in it, because the laptop’s too small for my eyes.”

It’s a slightly worrying thing to hear for England fans that Pickford needs a bigger screen for his laptop because of his eyesight.
If there’s any position where having clear vision is important, it would be in goal.
However, he may just be trying to avoid straining his eyes by using a screen that’s too small.
Pickford being mocked by Stones shows the camaraderie in the camp between players from different squads.
Both players have worked closely together over the years in England’s defensive unit.
In less than one week’s time, they’ll be walking out together to face Iran in England’s opening game.
