The Daily Mail has reported that Everton striker Richarlison is one of five attacking targets being lined up by Manchester United. His ability to play out wide or through the middle of a front three makes him an enticing prospect for other clubs, but here is why Everton cannot afford to let go of him.
The Brazilian forward has scored eight goals for the Toffees this season in all competitions and is a key part of the Everton attack. Without his goals, the club would be in real trouble due to the lack of goals from new signing Moise Kean.

Former boss Marco Silva discussed interest in the forward before leaving the club. As reported by The Daily Mail, he said: ”I believe it is not just Manchester United. I believe it is some more. As a club, we have to keep our best players.”
The versatile forward also offers more than just goals. He has provided three assists this season and can be deadly with his feet and in the air. Richarlison is also just 22-years-old. He is yet to reach his prime and will only get better in the coming years. The attacker could prove to be a key part of a new era for Everton under Carlo Ancelotti.

Everton’s new boss will be keen to assess the current crop of players before making any decisions. As the club’s joint-top scorer, Richarlison is likely to be top on the list of players to keep at the club.
