‘Why didn’t Arsenal sign him?’: Arsenal fans discuss William Saliba after another fine Wesley Fofana display

Arsenal fans have been once again asking questions of their manager, Mikel Arteta, after Wesley Fofana put in another fine display for Leicester City this afternoon.

Fofana joined the Foxes in the summer from St Etienne, while the Gunners got back his partner in France, William Saliba, from a loan deal with the Ligue 1 outfit.

However, Fofana has gone on to excel under Brendan Rodgers for Leicester, while Saliba is not even in the Arsenal squad as Mikel Arteta continues to play the long game with his young defender.

And after another excellent Fofana display today against Man United, Arsenal fans are all over Twitter questioning why the Gunners aren’t considering Saliba while Fofana thrives in the Midlands for the Foxes.

As you can imagine, it’s not gone down too well with some Arsenal supporters, who took to the social media platform to vent their frustrations at seeing Saliba being kept away from first-team action.
