A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to praise Gunners captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his superb display for Gabon yesterday.
The Arsenal striker has struggled for much of the season, and has been particularly lacklustre in recent games for his club.
Against Olympiacos, Aubameyang wasted several chances, and in the West Ham draw, he was completely anonymous both on the right flank and on the left.

Indeed, Mikel Arteta opted to take his captain off in the latter stages of the game, bringing Gabriel Martinelli on instead.
However, Aubameyang looked back to his best as Gabon ran out 3-0 winners over DR Congo and qualified for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.
Goals from Aaron Boupendza, Denis Bouanga and Aubameyang ensured a straightforward victory for the Panthers at the Stade de Franceville.
Boupendza opened the scoring just before the break with a superb effort from range.
Bouanga then doubled the lead in the 72nd minute after being put through by Aubameyang.
And the Arsenal skipper sealed the win with a close-range strike courtesy of Kanga’s assist.
Here is what some Gunners fans said about Aubameyang’s brilliant display:
